sex education

well my country surprises me everyday
and not all of them are pleasant
i was reading online when i came across the piece of news which says "sex education banned in Maharashtra"
god which era are we living in
in todays world with the internet the media the kids are already aware of what sex is
why dont we open up and tell them what is correct and what is wrong
sex education doesn't mean telling them how to have sex
all it means is making them aware of what is correct and what is a wrong touch
it is alarming to know that every second child in india is sexually abused
is this not enough for us to start educating young kids
i know of people who are against this
their arguments vary from --"the child will get excited from a young age"
or "we are giving them the gateway to become sexually active"
people i think before the kids are educated we need to educate the adults of what sex education is per se
i think it is a very important issue and needs immediate attention
go ask someones whose gone through this emotional and physical trauma
how tough it is to not blame oneself for what has happened
how tough it is to accept it
how tough it is to not to hate the opposite sex
how tough it is to grow as a normal human being
we need help and we need it fast
